Our Infinite Fates by Laura Steven

Release Date: March 4th, 2025

If you love thought-provoking stories that dive deep into fate, love, and the complexities of human connection, Our Infinite Fates is one to watch. Evelyn has a bit of a problem—she remembers her past lives, and in each one, she’s killed before turning eighteen. The culprit? Arden, a supernatural entity whose soul is tied to hers.

With her current life being the best one yet—and her sister depending on her for life-saving bone marrow transplants—Evelyn is desperate to break the cycle. But finding Arden, understanding the curse, and (hopefully) avoiding falling in love again won’t be easy.

The Strawberry Patch Pancake House by Laurie Gilmore

Release Date: March 18th, 2025

What’s better than a cozy small-town romance with the promise of delicious pancakes? The Strawberry Patch Pancake House is the kind of feel-good book that wraps you in a warm hug. Archer, a big-city chef and single dad, finds himself running a pancake house in Dream Harbor, searching for stability for his daughter, Olive.

Meanwhile, Iris, a self-proclaimed job-hopper, reluctantly agrees to become Olive’s nanny—though the idea of sticking to anything long-term makes her break out in hives. Archer and Iris might just find they have more in common than they thought, or perhaps Olive is playing matchmaker! Expect heartwarming moments, family dynamics, and a sprinkle of romance in this charming tale.

Finlay Donovan Digs Her Own Grave by Elle Cosimano

Release Date: March 4th, 2025

Finlay Donovan is back, and if you’ve followed her previous misadventures, you know things are about to get hilariously messy. In Finlay Donovan Digs Her Own Grave, she and her ever-loyal partner-in-chaos, Vero, find themselves tangled in yet another murder case—this time involving their elderly neighbor, Mrs. Haggerty. A dead body turns up in her backyard, and suddenly, she’s the prime suspect.

Determined to clear her name (and, let’s be honest, protect their own secrets), Finlay and Vero dive headfirst into an investigation. With a nosy grandson, a suspiciously convenient offer, and their own complicated love lives in the mix, this promises to be another fast-paced, laugh-out-loud mystery

Sunrise on the Reaping by Suzanne Collins

Release Date: March 18th, 2025

We are so excited for the fifth book in The Hunger Games series, and Sunrise On The Reaping by Suzanne Collins is guaranteed to not disappoint. Set during the 50th Hunger Games—better known as the Second Quarter Quell—we follow young Haymitch Abernathy, a District 12 tribute who is about to experience the Capitol’s cruelty firsthand. With twice as many tributes in the arena this year, the odds of survival are even slimmer.

Haymitch is no stranger to hardship, but he’s never faced anything like this. As he’s forced to navigate ruthless competitors, shifting alliances, and a brutal game designed to break him, he must rely on his intelligence and resourcefulness to survive.

But even as he fights for his life, he begins to realize that the Hunger Games are more than just a spectacle—they're a weapon of control, and he might be able to use them against those pulling the strings.

But things get complicated fast when he realizes his rival, Prince Lochlann Patrick, is at the center of it all. When the Moon Hits Your Eye by John Scalzi

Release Date: March 25th, 2025

What if the moon suddenly turned into a giant wheel of cheese? In When the Moon Hits Your Eye, our lunar companion is inexplicably replaced by an enormous hunk of cheese—same mass, same orbit, just…cheese.

As scientists, billionaires, politicians, and everyday folks scramble to make sense of this cosmic absurdity, chaos and comedy ensue. Is it a miracle? A catastrophe? An intergalactic prank? Scalzi masterfully blends satire and sci-fi, serving up a wildly entertaining look at humanity’s response to the inexplicable. Witty, weird, and wonderfully fun, this book is a must-read for anyone who likes their sci-fi with a side of humor—and maybe some crackers.

Jane and Dan at the End of the World by Colleen Oakley

Release Date: March 11th, 2025

Jane is ready to call it quits on her marriage of 19 years. Her writing career has flopped, her teenagers don’t seem to need her, and she’s pretty sure Dan is cheating. So, what better time to drop the divorce bomb than their anniversary dinner at a fancy restaurant?

But just as the main course arrives, so does a group of bumbling climate activists—taking everyone hostage. The real kicker? Their plan sounds exactly like the plot of Jane’s failed novel. Even Dan (who she was sure never read it) agrees. Now, the only two people who know how this heist unfolds are the couple on the brink of breaking up.

Forced to work together, Jane and Dan must navigate chaos, crime, and each other in this witty, fast-paced, and surprisingly heartfelt adventure. Will they make it out alive? And if they do—could their marriage actually survive? Equal parts comedy, suspense, and marital mayhem, Jane and Dan at the End of the World is a wildly entertaining ride about love, second chances, and the absurdity of modern life.

The Paris Express by Emma Donoghue

Release Date: March 18th, 2025

Step aboard The Paris Express, where politics, ambition, secrets, and fate collide on a journey destined for disaster. Inspired by the infamous 1895 Montparnasse train crash, Emma Donoghue crafts a riveting historical drama filled with a vibrant cast of travelers—each carrying their own hopes, fears, and hidden agendas.

Among them: a frantic member of parliament racing to cast his vote, a medical student with a grim suspicion, a secretary pushing the potential of moving pictures, a young anarchist plotting something dangerous, and train crew members building lives beyond their wives. As the train speeds toward Paris, their lives intertwine in ways they never expected—until history takes a shocking turn.

Kills Well With Others by Deanna Raybourn

Release Date: March 4th, 2025

Billie, Helen, Mary Alice, and Natalie may be retired assassins, but a quiet life of watercolor classes and yoga just doesn’t cut it. When their old boss at the Museum calls them back into action, these seasoned killers don’t hesitate—they sharpen their knives and prepare for one of their deadliest missions yet.

A mysterious crime boss with global influence is hunting down former agents, and our favorite quartet of lethal ladies is next on the hit list. To survive, they must uncover a mole within their own ranks and take down a powerful Eastern European gangster before she eliminates them first.

Packed with sharp wit, globe-trotting action, and the kind of chemistry only decades of friendship (and murder-for-hire) can forge, Kills Well with Others is a wildly entertaining ride. If you love espionage, high-stakes intrigue, and badass women who refuse to go down without a fight, this is the perfect book to devour—preferably with a martini in hand.

This Book Will Bury Me by Ashley Winstead

Release Date: March 25th, 2025

Jane Sharp never expected to become part of a true crime case—until she did. What started as an online obsession, a way to distract herself from grief, soon turns into something much darker when she and her fellow armchair detectives take on a chilling murder spree in Delphine, Idaho. Three college girls are dead, the police are withholding key details, and the internet is ablaze with speculation. But Jane and her friends are determined to crack the case first.

As they dig deeper, nothing seems to add up, and the truth is more terrifying than they imagined. The closer they get, the clearer it becomes: they aren't just solving a mystery—they’re walking straight into a trap.

Told from Jane’s perspective a year after the shocking events unfolded, This Book Will Bury Me is an addictive, twist-filled thriller that blurs the lines between justice, obsession, and the power of storytelling.

The Bane Witch by Ava Morgyn

Release Date: March 18th, 2025

The Bane Witch is a spellbinding tale of vengeance, power, and the deliciously thin line between justice and revenge. If you love fierce heroines, slow-burning suspense, and a touch of deadly romance, this is the book to sink your teeth into.

Piers Corbin has always had a taste for poison—both in plants and in men. After years trapped in a toxic marriage, she fakes her own death and escapes to the mountains, seeking refuge with her enigmatic great-aunt. But what starts as a desperate bid for freedom turns into something far more powerful—her deadly instincts aren’t just survival tactics; they’re part of her legacy.

Piers comes from a long line of Bane Witches, women who consume poison and wield their magic to rid the world of dangerous men.

As she embraces her dark inheritance, balancing small-town café shifts with secret assassinations, she catches the attention of two men: a charming local sheriff and a far more sinister figure—a serial killer stalking the area. Now, it’s hunter versus hunter, and Piers has only one way to deal with monsters: it’s time to feed.

Conclusion

And there you have it—March is bringing us an incredible lineup of books that have our TBR piles teetering dangerously close to collapse (but let’s be honest, we wouldn’t have it any other way). Whether you’re in the mood for a swoon-worthy romance, a spine-tingling thriller, or a whimsical adventure, this month’s releases have a little something for every book lover.

While these titles won’t be making an appearance in our Once Upon a Book Club boxes, we’re just as excited to dive into them and get lost in their pages. And if you love surprises, immersive reading experiences, and exclusive gifts that bring books to life, don’t forget to check out our monthly book box subscriptions. Who knows? Your next favorite read might just be waiting for you inside! Happy reading!
