Ekon, the younger son of a revered hero, is poised to join the Sons of the Six—an esteemed cadre of warriors—thereby continuing his family's distinguished history. However, a devastating blaze on the eve of his crucial rite disrupts everything. Amid the chaos, Ekon confronts not only the Shetani—a dread creature that has haunted the city and his dreams for a century—but also a peculiar girl with the apparent ability to repel the monster.
